God, Chess and Success (Part 2)

Success within myself is one thing that I have always understood could keep me motivated in life. Nevertheless, tangible success continued to fail me year after year, with me making consistent mistakes and losing who I was in the process. However, I could not let go and I had to find a level of perseverance to build upon. 

I would invest in an idea and things would go awry. I would team up with a counterpart and the level of motivation from my partner would not equal my own. However, the trait of perseverance would allow me to not give up, to dust myself off and jump back into the ‘game’ if I was to ever find the success, I know exists for myself…just as it exists for others.

I read that Henry Ford failed five times and experienced bankruptcy. I read that Steven Spielberg could not even get into his preferred film school. My favorite is how Walt Disney returned to buy out the same company that fired him for no imagination. These are the preservice levels that continue to inspire me to know how I need to manage my motivation understand where my strengths are…and build upon that to find my success level.  (TO BE CONTINUED)
